The Zoning Administrator administers the zoning bylaws and carefully monitors land development within the Town. The Zoning Administrator also maintains all zoning regulations, amendments, the Zoning Map, and written zone boundary descriptions. In addition, the Zoning Administrator issues certain permits in accordance with the Chester Zoning Regulations. If you are planning structural changes to your property, the Zoning Administrator can be extremely helpful in advising you on the right procedure to follow and required permits.
