Country Treasures is a quilting fabric and notions supplier located in the historic town of Chester, Vermont. Our quilt shop has been operating since 1990. Our front room is a gift shop enjoyed by everyone, not just quilting enthusiasts. We also sell the best maple syrup in Vermont (made in our own sugar house!). Our other 5 rooms are filled with over 6,000 bolts of quilting fabric, 10,000 fat quarters, and a favorite with our customers… fat quarter bundles. We carry homespuns, reproduction fabrics, batiks, an entire room of flannel, and many major fabric lines. We have a large selection of quilting patterns, books, and notions. Our classroom is busy six days a week providing quilting classes by expert instructors for students of all skill levels.

The Chester Bookworm is a wonderful store for browsing used books particularly European publications. Specializing in rare and scarce books. The shop also offers a full bookbinding service on the premises, from simple repairs to complete bindings and tooling in leather or cloth. The bindery owns an extensive range of cloths which are now unavailable new. We provide an immediate quotation for book restoration with an opportunity to visit the bindery and choose materials, color, style etc. Also, we build books for special occasions such as marriages, anniversaries, or retirements. The owners Ann and Malcolm Summers are members of the Vermont Antiquarian Booksellers Association.
