Select Board

The Select Board is the legislative body of the Town and enacts ordinances and regulations as required for the health, safety, and welfare of the residents. The Board prepares an annual budget for approval by the voters at Town Meeting.
The Board meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The agenda for each meeting is finalized on the Friday immediately before the meeting. Individuals are welcome to speak to the Board under Citizens Comments on matters not included on the agenda. Meetings are recorded by the Springfield Area Public Access and are played locally for those individuals who subscribe to the local cable television.
