The Town of Chester's Lister information and tax maps are now available online. Please use this link to access this tool- Lister Information

​The Listers calculate the assessed value of all properties and produce the Grand List, a listing of all Chester properties.  They develop a Lister’s Card on each property which includes a description of the property and structures, and a photograph as well.  Owners of property with changes in valuation receive notice of such change in the spring and if they should disagree, they are welcome to make an appointment to grieve the matter with the Listers.  The Listers also prepare the property tax bills which are mailed in July of each year and payment is due by September 15.  If you would like to communicate directly with the Listers via email, here is their email address: [email protected]
