The Development Review Board’s role is to review all development applications for the Town of Chester including subdivisions, variances, conditional uses, Zoning Administrator appeals, and site plan reviews. The Board will help institute a one-stop shopping method for most applicants. Applications for variances, conditional use permits, and subdivisions are available to download from the Forms section.

The Development Review Board will be holding a Site Visit at 4:00 pm on Monday, January 27th and a Public Hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday January 27, 2020 at the Town Hall, for a Conditional Use application (#545)
PROPERTY OWNERS: Town of Chester APPLICANT: David Pisha, Town Manager LOCATION: 130 Pleasant St. DISTRICT: R20 ACTION REQUESTED: The project is the construction of an approximately 15,000 sf new emergency services building. This will house the Chester Police and Fire Departments, along with the Ambulance Service with associated drive, parking and sidewalks Abutters are hereby notified that further information can be found at the Town Clerk’s Office which is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participation in this hearing is a pre-requisite to the right to take any subsequent appeal.
