information and tools with local employers. Below is the original
message with all of the details. If you are planning to attend, signing
is appreciated but not required. Please feel free to join the meeting

We are pleased to announce the first Springfield Area Employer Resources
meeting. Thank you to those who completed the survey to help us shape
this initial meeting and those that will follow. We hope as many
employers in the Greater Springfield Area will attend (virtually) as
many meetings as possible. Through funding from the Working Communities
Challenge we have contracted with Adaptiva HR
<https://adaptivahr.com/> to coordinate and facilitate these meetings.
Their Human Resources and Organizational Consultants will share
information, tools, and other resources to help employers in the region
address many topics including Covid-19 compliance, recruiting and
retention, employment regulations, leadership development, and many
more. The meetings will take place on the first Wednesday of each month
from 9:30-11:00. We ask that you RSVP for each meeting to help with
structuring the online format, but you are also always welcome to
drop-in without an RSVP. An invitation with links to RSVP and for the
meeting will be sent in advance of each meeting. If you have any

coronavirus pandemic, we will make sure employers know what the current
employment regulations and requirements are and what they mean in
practice. Through an interactive conversation, we will help those
attending understand what this all means for /them/ and what steps they
need to take if they are not currently compliant. There will be plenty
of opportunity to ask questions. The goal is to deepen and broaden your
knowledge and also to take away practical steps and tools to implement.
